I've heard many of Dr. Richard's tapes, though not all of them. I think that I was able to get my thinking more controlled more quickly because of what I did hear. I didn't like the relaxation technique because I had an overly giddy reaction to it and am not sure that really helps my social anxiety significantly. I do like his emphasis on many good things about dealing with anxiety and how to slowly get yourself dealing with people again. I think the tapes are good. I'm not sure they're perfect, but I wouldn't rule them out. They are a great resource on many levels. Who doesn't need great resources on many levels?
