Thanks for the positive thoguhts, because from now on I am only allowing myself to go to this page...the others all seem to make my sa worse trying to analyze and diagnose everything...and its exhausting...so anytime you have a positive thought please post it! Thanks! And keep the wheels spinning in the right direction

I can understand where your comming from. But sometimes theres also some very positive info on other pages. Sometimes someone "frustration" remark will yield some info that could be very positive to you through various responses or even through seeing theres others who have the same / like problems of your own.

Try and be open minded but I don't blame you from wanting to avoid the really bad posts... I do that myself at times.

Open mindedness is a vital key.... so is chocolate...

I'm thinking of doing this too. Whenever I'm browsing the other pages and read somebody's experience I feel omg that happens with me too..things that I had never noticed or thought of before...one step forward and two steps back :/

we shall overcome...

I have come to the conclusion that positive thinking is the best way for me to overcome SA. Here's my story...

THe other day I drove a male friend to his job interview at a hospital in which I had to sit in the main office. There were so many employees coming through, and they were all so nice. I dressed as if I were the one being interviewed, and I made it my business to greet everyone before they greeted me. Obviously, I put on a good impression b/c they said that they were hoping that I was the one being interviewed.

Just from the impression that I made that day, I said that I do not have a fear, I just have a negative way of thinking. If I change this, I will be free from this thought of Social Anxiety. :banana

I keep on reading some of the threads on the other pages. I admit it gets me a little depressed, some of the stuff are so sad (like meloncholy sad). And you just want to help everyone but its impossible to :(

Okay wait, this isn't positive at all :lol
