I'm having a very hard time opening up to my therapist, I've been seeing her over 3 months already. She specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, but my not being able to talk is definitely a hinderance. (Yikes there's no spellcheck on here ...) Anyway, I'm able to open up on SAS so it would make sense that I'd have an easier time working with her online, IM or whatever. Someone encouraged me to ask her, my next apt is tomorrow morning but I feel so stupid ...

Is it a fair thing to ask?

It's a fair thing to ask. I don't know if they'll agree to it or not. It would seem they could better understand you if your there in person. They can't really read your body language or tone of voice with the online thing.
