i had a meeting at work on friday.

it was rather sickening listening to all of the propoganda being espoused.

we did a huddle with a company cheer at the end. i of course didnt participate int hat silliness.

The funny thing, Miss Hermit, is that I know a guy who loves meetings for all the reasons you gave. Fortunately he's a co-worker and not my boss. Once, in a meeting he talked for almost 45 minutes straight - mostly about non-work stuff!

If people spent less time talking and more taime doing, a lot more would have gotten done!

LOL, that was hilarious. I oughta anonymously e-mail it to the managers at work.

This was in my in-tray at the office today. Gave me a good laugh! :lol
(Gawd, how I hate meetings!!!)

Are you lonely???
Don't like working on your own?
Hate making decisions?
Then call a MEETING!!!

You can...
SEE people
DRAW flowcharts
FEEL important
FORM subcommittees
IMPRESS your colleagues
MAKE meaningless recommendations

ALL on COMPANY TIME!!!

MEETINGS...The practical alternative to work!
