If this is cold calling people and trying to sell them stuff, then...ughhh. I did this type of work for 1 night. Get used to having the phone slammed on you and people swear at you. If you can handle it, it's good practice in striking up conversations, although limited in scope, with people. If this is taking incoming calls, then it's not bad since you customers are initiating and generally asking the same questions. It got me used to speaking again in a somewhat coherent manner.
