Had to write a poem in school for english one time about summer and I just found it laying around. Here it is, feel free to laugh at it.

Summer Sight Seeing
City in the distance;
Is unbeknownst to me .
For here I stand exhausted;
Drowning in this toxic sea.
The sky is gray and tainted,
Only thy foul airs encompass thee.
Natures forced to paint a picture;
With a pallet full of gray.
I longed to glimpse the horizon,
Before it blurred and faded away.
It’s a monochromatic masterpiece,
On another colour forsaken day.
