It sent out a bunch of "re:hi" emails today, containing links and attachments. They're all there in my sent folder. I did a Norton and a Hijackthis scan and found nothing. I looked on the internet and apparently microsoft is "looking into" the problem. Is there anything else I can do, other than change my password?

You've pretty much got it covered, if you're still worried I'd just change the password once more. Something you should remember is to never download any of those attachments, who knows what nasty stuff is in em'.

Here's a list of things you can do to protect yourself:
1) If you use Firefox, download the add-ons called noscript and adblock plus.
2) Clear your browsers internet cache and cookies
3) Virus/Spyware/Maleware scan your computer at least once a month
4) Avoid sketchy sites
5) Only download files you trust and from sites you trust
6) Open suspicious links you see at your own risk
7) NEVER give away sensitive information like a real life address, phone number, passwords, etc etc
8) Don't trust a user on this forum called "Tau Sin", he's a low-life
