In 1969, PBS as we knew it was not officially a network yet. That didn't start, I believe, until 1971. NET was the name of the network.

Damn! That was creepy! Then again, I always said that Mr. Rogers was the classic psychopath. The title of the thread was misleading.....or did the op did that on purpose?
