Are there any movies you saw as a child that stick in your mind?

I loved the "Wilderness family" movies. About a family that leaves the city to live in a cabin in the Rocky Mountains. The same thing happened in every movie: grizzly bears trying to break down the front door, mountain lions on the roof, racoons down the chimney and a hairy old mountain man (called "Boomer", I think) trailing up the mountain with a donkey in tow! Does anyone else remember these movies?

The one that I remember is Pinocchio as being my first ever movie... I was probably 3 or 4 years old... probably 1980ish... that was when they played the classic disney movies every 8 years in the theaters.. because they didn't have them on tape yet..

E.T.
I saw that with my family when I was about six years old in the theater. I also watched Sixteen Candles with my sister when I was about nine...I remember that being the first shower scene I had ever seen :um :lol I didn't go to many movies when I was young, but I can remember seeing those two in the theater.

I remember seeing E.T. as a kid. It scared the heck out of me. I haven't watched it since.

Also, when I was 3 (in 1983) my parents took me to see Return of the Jedi. Big mistake. My sensitive ears couldn't handle all the laser guns and explosions and whatnot.

I was a sensitive kid.

The Fantastic Adventures of Unico-sad/cute anime movie
Milo and Otis-I love this film so much. :mushy
Homeward Bound-my intro to the coolness of Michael J. Fox. :D
Pet Shop-Back when I was a kid I thought it was such a cool movie, now when I watch it when I'm older I realize how weird it is. Still good though.
Mac and Me-Such a sad cute movie :cry
Also a host of disney movies, and I used to rent videos of the Beany and Cecil show a lot, which my mom introduced me to.

To kill a mockingbird, which had a character whose name I stoll for my name here. Also had a mjor crush on the main character (scout). Hey, I was about 7.

I also saw Inherit the wind at abou the same time. It was about the Scopes Monkey Trials, and made a real impression.

And The Russians are coming.

I saw 'Goodfellas' when I was 8 years old. It seems like a tame movie now, but at the time it really traumatised me
I only saw that film recently, and the opening scene is about the worst thing I've seen in a movie. Must lead a very sheltered life. :?

:b What was the story? I remember seeing "The Cat from Outer Space". Can only remember the title, though, not the plot.

It was about a very bad pro basketball team that turns for help from an astrologer. They get all new players save one, all with that same astrological sign(Pisces). It's an odd group of players, but they become a winning team after the change. Classic! :b
