I haven't been on in a while, but I wanted to let you know what has been going on in my life. For the past year, I have been in two Recovery group therapy classes (each about 13 weeks in length) for my Social Anxiety Disorder. In each of these classes, I shared details with people I have never shared with anybody in person. The lesson I have learned in the last year is that living in a life of Social Anxiety was not MY life, and it was not MY past. However, if I put as much focus on my future as I have trying to relive and re-create my past, great things will happen in my life. Tonight, for the first time, I stood in front of a microphone and spoke to the entire recovery group (about 60 people) about my Social Anxiety Disorder, and all the changes that have been happening in my life since I started attending Recovery. This was a day over 32 years in the making.

Also, Last Friday, I started focusing on my future by starting a Project Management for IS/IT Professionals course offered online through Villanova University out of Philadelphia, PA. I am hoping to have my Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in about 6 months, and then I can move on with my life.
