I wanted to get any opinions, whether good or bad on Lexapro? I just recently started to take this about a week ago. I have been on several different anti-depressants so I would like to get some feedback on this medication.

--Did it help & any major side effects? Thanks, I would appreciate any opinions on Lexapro!

I'm on it right now; my doctor just upped my dosage from 20mg to 30mg the other day. Lexapro helps my mood a great deal, though it hasn't helped my lack of motivation or overall lack of self-confidence. As far as side effects, the only major one for me is drowsiness. I feel really sleepy a lot of the time.

I was on Lexapro for a year... it work pretty decent... I got too confident and stop taking it and stopped going to therapy... bad decision, one year later I'm back to where I started. I don't remember any side effects.. so maybe I didn't have any... idk.

You got too confident? Is that a bad thing?
Sorry, I should explain. I transferred to a new school, and thought I had beaten SA and thought the medicine wasn't the reason I felt much better about myself, I thought I didn't need it, when the truth was I still had a ways to go. And Yeah I have beaten a couple aspects of SA, but not the most important ones IMO.
