I have had three gym memberships over my lifetime and the last one I never went. I dont want that to happen this time.
I signed a 2 year commitment which I really didnt want to do but just signed it anyway. Its $30 a month and its a brand new huge place that just opened up.
I want to recommit myself to working out. All through my 20s I worked out all the time but slowed to a complete stop over my 30s. Now that I am 40, I want to go back to doing it. Well I have been using the treadmill but more sporadically then regularly.
The gym isnt far, about a 10 minute drive and its a stellar facility. I want to begin by having a goal of 3 times per week at the gym. I am dying to use the elliptical, I love that. I have a home treadmill but have been getting bored with it. I still plan to use the home treadmill on days that I am NOT going to the gym. My goal is to workout a total of 5 days per week.
I hope I didnt just waste money.
I am not trying to be negative but the last time I failed at this, and that was a couple of years ago. :sigh
I am going to go for my first time in about 40 minutes. No time like the present, right?
