I'm so proud of myself. :) I've been actively participating in the class discussions in my music appreciation class. In the past, I would have just kept my head down and not said anything.

What's even better is that my comments are being taken positively by the professor and the other students. :)

That's great. You should be proud of yourself. I know people w/o SA who can't participate in meetings etc.
It is one my goals too. How did you get comfortable speaking up?

I just sort of imagine myself as being the only student or one of the few students in the room. I look at the professor or another student and pretend that I'm just talking to her or just them.

Great job!

I wanted to respond to others' comments a lot in a certain class I was taking recently, but I felt certain my mind would go blank and I wouldn't be able to express my thoughts.
