Okay my cat bit on my hand. There wasn't any blood comming out just a red mark, and nothing else. I put alchol on it pretty quickly afterwards, but it still hurts a bit. Does it like anything I should be worried about, or am I going overboard again? The cat that bite me was my cat, and he's a indoor cat.

Sorry, more hours at work means more anxiety for me usually. Anyway, I'll probably getting the tetanus shot on the 4th.

If you aren't already vaccinated you have to go within 48 hours to get a tetanus shot. Getting it in two weeks will protect you in the future but it won't help you with this particular incident.

i wouldn't worry about it. Tetanus shots need to be taken every five years so depending on your history, you may need one.
I actually had a tetanus injection last Sunday night when I was in hospital getting my fractured elbow looked at. Before then I hadn't had it in over a decade and I've had heaps of cuts since then.

You'd probably have a greater chance of being bitten by a shark while surfing or whatever than getting lockjaw ;) but be safe and get an injection if you need to. It doesn't hurt much at all. Just feels like you've been punched in the arm the day after when it's all traveling through the muscle.

I get bitten and scratched by animals all the time, outdoor ones too, and I don't even think I'm vaccinated against tetanus. You should be fine.
