Sometimes it's easier for me to talk to strangers than people I know. For example, at work, I never know what to say to most of the people. The talkative people I'm ok with, cause they just blab away, but the rest of the people it's so hard. I never know what to say and it becomes a chore to see them everyday. Sometimes I feel like just quitting so I can stay at home all day and not have to talk to people. It's a double edged sword. I want a girlfriend, but the majority of people I can't stand to be around. lol Kind of a crappy situation. Anyone else like this?

Yeah, totally. I think it's partly because when I'm 'socialising' with strangers, I know I'll never have to see them again. Whereas if I'm talking to people I know, they're likely to be 'judging' me on what I do everytime I see them. It makes it harder to see someone the next time when I know I've made a fool of myself because of SA the last time I saw them, if any of that makes sense? :stu
