Hello,
This is my first time here. I'm excited to see there are so many people here!

I have had social anxiety since I can remember. It has gotten much better. I am more confident than I used to be even 6 months ago. But it is still a pretty big drag on my life.

I used to think (in my perfectionism) that if I just worked hard enough I could get rid of it. Then I realized that wasn't how it worked.

Right now I really want more friends. And since I've always had social anxiety, I don't have a great track record with that. So I'm not sure how to get from here to where I wanna be.

Glad to have you here! I think you'll find we can all relate, especially with the "how to" part, still struggle with that one daily myself :)
