When someone is on your ignore list, their names/posts still show up in topics but instead are minimized with the option to view the content. Is there a way to completely ignore them so you don't even see their names/posts at all in the topic?

If there were a way to do that, but the answer was given by someone in your Ignore list, then you would not be able to see it.

You can't completely hide them with vBulletin, but there may be some browser add-ons that allow you to do that.

There's always the chance of you seeing that person's name and post(s) when it's quoted by someone not on your ignore list. I guess everything seems to find a way to creep in at some point. I just try to view seeing the person I have on ignore's name showing up as a warning to someone about to quote their post now since there is no way to work around it at the moment.

If you have them on ignore, you won't receive any PM they try to send.

On your profile page: Anyone you have blocked won't be able to see your visitor messages, any albums, or your 'About Me' section. (They can still see the 'Statistics' tab and your online/offline status.)

You can set it so that they don't.

There is one more thing to this: Privacy settings - http://www.socialanxietysupport.com/forum/profile.php?do=privacy

They need to be set to "Registered Members". Anything set to "Everyone" will be open to people on your ignore list (it says it'll be open to guests as well, but the forums are set up so that guests can't see profiles regardless of what this is set at).

thanks. I'm confused about one other thing though... it's about the the privacy settings for Recent Visitors. If I set it to Friends Only, does that mean only my friends will show up on my recent visitors list? Or does it mean that they will be the only people able to view it?

Recent Visitors will still track all visits, but will only display to whatever group is set in privacy settings.
