Okay, so today in Music class was the day for people who wanted a solo to audition. I decided that I needed to do more stuff like this so I went for it. Hoping that things like this would get me over my anxiety I stood up in front of the mic and sang the solo. It wasn't that bad, though my voice came out squeaky, my face was turning red, and I was shaking a bit. I'm glad I even had the courage to get up in front of 20 or so people and I hope to do more stuff like this in the future.

Good Stuff!

It takes a bit of time to get over performance anxiety & to be honest for me it never completely went away. It's the initial jitters that remained but once I got into the tunes then things calmed down & I would enjoy myself
