I've been taking Zoloft for almost 2 months now, up to 150 MG now. I'm just a little more confident around people and simultaneously calmer, if that makes sense. It's hard to explain. I also don't get stuck in thought as much like I did before, it's more of an easy transfer from thought to thought. Today, my parents hosted a going away party for my brother, who's moving to Florida, and I was pretty comfortable and talkative with everyone, for the most part. Of course, there still are those instances where I wanted to say something and could of chimed in, but, I didn't. For me, the problem is more of the anticipation of the social event, being very hesitant to go to social gatherings, etc. Once I'm actually there and in the social setting, I'm never as bad as I thought I was going to be. Hopefully, I continue to see incremental improvements with this drug.
Not really. I was kind of apathetic (emotionless) the first week while I was on it and when I would increase my dosage, but, not anymore. If anything, I'm more energetic. I exercise a couple times a week, play hockey, etc.
Hmmmmm.........I'm by no means a doctor, but, maybe you want to try taking some L-Tyrosine as well, which is a precursor to dopamine. I take 1 gram of that as well. Might help you with motivation\energy.
