You can not care about what other's think while still maintaining a negative view of yourself, which leads to social anxiety.

I'm also anxious all of the time. Really. Like even at home in my room I have the same anxiety that I have out of the house. It's just not being exacerbated/agitated, but it's still there.

:yes yes this is possible. Perhaps it is not just social anxiety you have. Sound like you have general anxiety as well.

Maybe your SA is more associated to your self-worth than to external events, how highly do you think of yourself?

I think I have a fairly good opinion of myself...let's see...I think I'm attractive...intelligent. But if I am down on myself at all, it's basically because of my social anxiety.
