I assume this is a post-secondary class you're talking about. In which case do NOT admit to cheating. Deny. Deny. Deny. If you admit to it, they HAVE to make an example out of you. They will not let it slide regardless of how much remorse you have.

Nevermind this other student who caught you. The only one that matters is the professor.

unlike what you may have heard from your parents and fairy tales, honesty and being a good guy does not always put you on the best path, likewise bad people don't always suffer like in movies. Keep your mouth shut since he already believes you.

I have never cheated in college, but in high school I did it all the time, mainly just to teachers who would start a class introduction by saying how smart they are and no matter what you try they know every trick there is and will catch you cheating. So I did it just to show them up, and I always suceeded, to bad I couldn't tell them later or else they would have "caught me" and my efforts would have been in vein.

Whats up with a girl getting into your cheating buisness anyways, sounds like something that I left behind in elementary school.

You can get kicked out of school for doing that or at the least put on academic probation. I would just hope it goes away without anything happening. If the teacher asks you about it I think you should own up to it and hope they understand.

I cheated in my exam too. the whole clas did nd someone grassed up. I played it safe at 1st, the most honest girls in class had told the teacher I hadnt cheated and I made it known.to the class I hadnt even though I had. My teacher believed me until the end of the day. She called my best friend and spoke to her privately before calling me. I sat next to my friend he hurriedly whispered something to me that I did not catch. My teacher then.asked outright as to whether I had cheated to which I answered no, she asked again nd knowing something was up, I truthfully said yes nd she replied saying she had proof (i dont kno wat the proof was) nd she told me I had broken her trust but she forgave me.because I was honest at the end. However, I hav officially lost the trust of my parents hu say they will never trust me again.

Dude who cares people cheat ALL THE TIME.

As far as I'm concerned if your smart enough to cheat + get away with it you DESERVE that grade.

So stupid, your not hurting anyone by getting a better grade, why would you ever not cheat??? For some made-believe sense of morals that were only created to keep people in line? Christ that is dumb.

Just consider yourself lucky and don't do it again. I admit I've had to reply on peripheral vision to do better on some tests more than once. I wish I hadn't had to though.

South Park quote: "If you get caught, you're a cheater. If you don't, you're savvy."

Okay...apparently this is an old thread. Isn't there a rule agaisnt this on the forum?

Well don't do it again.
If you think it's going to bother you for a good while- which it would me - it'd probably be best to just tell the teacher the truth. Get it off your chest. If it won't bother you then don't worry about it.

No, they don't, and I'm very much for the draconian policies colleges have. Frankly, I find people who are aas selfishly unaware of the consequences as you seem to be, to be of a lower morality (IE that of a child), because you simply can't fathom that your cheating is cheating someone who actually WORKED for their grade out of their proper place. It's because of people like that politicians are utter crooks, because just like to you, to them the selfish ends will always justify selfish means. There is no concept of earned to you, there's just the ridiculous notion that you somehow deserve what you want, irregardless of what harms you cause along the way. If you can't understand the higher reasoning as to why you shouldn't cheat, frankly, I hope you get caught for cheating, and pay the full consequences of your actions, because your morality probably only goes as far as punishment and reward.

Also, imo, they need to start handing out warnings for necroposting without any real reason.

Your right! You see I'm not such a child that I believe in such things as "morality" and "right and wrong"; you know why? Because those are man made concepts to keep suckers like you in line, nothing more or less.

Enjoy being "high and mighty" while everyone with half a brain passes you up by being a little "savvy". :D

Lol, ok. So Socrates, Aristotle, Epicurus, Aquinas, Hobbes, and many of the other geniuses are dwarfed by your intellect :D. Like I said, you have the morality of a child, and a selfish one at that, because you can't even grasp the idea that hurting others is bad. To you, nothing matters but your own selfish needs, and hurting others is justified so long as you come out on top. You completely fail to understand the basic concept of empathy, and you implying that I'm moral only for the sake of being "high and mighty" IE for my own glorification, is a sign of just how foreign the aforementioned concept is to your immature way of thinking.

Live however you want, but when you get screwed over, I hope you don't hate the person for acting as you would have, and I hope you don't end up blaming everyone around you if they decide they don't need a selfish person like you in their lives.
