You shouldn't have lied, what you did was wrong. I suggest you go and tell your teacher that you lied and did cheat on the test, it'll show good character that you finally owned up.

And an "F" on the test. Seriously what's the point? What's done is done, the op just have to make sure not to do this again.

The point is that cheating is wrong and you should face the consequences of your actions. People need to start taking responsibility for themselves - it's part of being an adult.
