i'm not terribly nervous to be honest.

it's a city-run program where i'll be going out in groups from 6pm-12am and surveying homeless people in a certain region of the city. i'm doing it with a friend which should make it much better. we get training before hand and have a list of very specific questions to ask which helps ease the anxiety a bit.

it will probably go well, i'm sure considering its so long the first few times it will be hard but it will get much easier.

i'd actually also like to get a job in the field of social work specifically helping those who are homeless so this seems like a good start in finding out if it's something i would enjoy.

wish me luck!
