Positive remarks only. I just could not take the other med because it sedated me too much. I just don't undertsnad how taking Remeron at higher doses makes a person less drowsy. That's weird. Anyway, I was able to walk in and get her to change the med so she put me on Prozac. Can't remember if I ever tried it.

Does it help social anxiety?

Prozac worked really good for me when I took it. I lost 20lbs too, so that was an added bonus. It certainly didn't cure my SA, but eliminated the depression and seemed to stop a lot of the negative thoughts. I felt more comfortable talking to people. I then was on parnate for a long time, but I take Zoloft now b/c I'm trying to get pregnant. It seems fairly comparable to prozac...at least that's been my experience.
