Pretty much what the title says. I've been listening to Jon Kabat-Zinn's guided mediation CDs (body scan mediation at the moment) for a week now and I'm still in the mist of how one would use it in feared social situations. Any ideas?
I haven't but i believe, its practice practice practice, learning to be present in the moment, and eventually letting go of the thoughts. If all you are is what you are right now, you're not spending all your time stressing about what you said, what you did, or what you will say, or what you will do. That is not to say that you never ever think about the past or the future but , I think if you practice properly it helps you not to obsess or overanalyze? Maybe?
