Don't limit yourself by "three meals" a day. Eat small amounts all through the day, and have one large meal. Don't buy junk food, period. If you don't have it, you can't stumble upon it in the fridge and eat it all. Cook more at home... Little things like replacing white bread with wheat or multi grain bread helps a lot. Get low fat everything. (Low fat yogurt, low fat cream cheese, low fat ice cream when you want to cheat.) Eat a lot of protein. Natural peanut butter, lean meats, etc. That's the TL;DR version of what I've done in the past year to lose 95lbs. If you have any other questions feel free to IM me.
