Can anyone tell me if at certain times of the month for a menstruating woman, she has either a dip or rise in { can't remember which hormone, progesterone. testosterone or the other one - estrogene?} and acts as a sedative making me noticably fatigued. I could drop on the sofa and fall asleep in 60 secs flat.

Or is this food related? I spent 2 hours at the gym, come home starving, eat sensibly and alot, with some sugar, I grave sweetness sometimes, and then shortly after I'm overwhelmed with tiredness and a loud heartbeat, what is this? Dont scare me, I scare easy.
thanks

I wouldn't be able to tell you which hormone but I've always attributed the tiredness with the period itself, loss of blood (sorry for the details) being the main cuprit. Possibly, if you take iron, that could help combat that.

As far as your loud heartbeat, if that really is a concern to you, talking to your doctor is the best advice I can give you :squeeze
