what are things you use to really enjoy that you don't really do anymore.

I use to collect coins, I had this big fascination with money when I was a kid. I also use to love snakes, I would spend my summers visiting my mom out hunting for new pets and go to the zoo at least once a year, last one I had was a milk snake that I caught, but it got away a couple years latter, forgot what kind it was so long ago.

I've never really had any hobbies. You could make a list of the hundred most common hobbies and it's doubtful that I could find even one or two on the list that would even mildly interest me. I'm not sure it's even possible to be more boring than me.

I used to make jewelry. I got pretty good at macrame and beading, but just stopped sometime in high school.

I used to like making videos. But that was a long time ago. I haven't even had a video camera in over a decade. But that used to be fun. I still like creative stuff like that though.

I used to play the piano and sing in competitions when I was a child but I couldn't imagine going on stage now! I joined a singing group about a year ago and although I've started to enjoy singing again, I become anxious if too many people turn up for sessions. This has caused me to stop going for the past month. I just can't handle the feelings of panic and having to socialise with everyone.

I used to read a lot, back when I didn't have this laptop. I still like reading, but picking up a book takes more effort than staring at my email, or Yahoo Answers, or uTorrent :blank:no

I also enjoyed programming, but I ran out of ideas a while ago. Or maybe it got boring...

Not exactly a hobby, but since I finished high school I realized I miss writing. Not writing stories or anything like that, but "... the inscription of characters on a medium, thereby forming words..." ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Writing#Writing_as_a_category ) using a fountain pen. :b

Drawing, comic books, video games...you know, anything sedentary. Actually, I recall taking martial arts for a while but I was sort of forced into it.

I'm have exactly the same hobbies as you, even the Karate part XD except I chose to do and and wasn't forced to. And instead of comic books there's anime/manga, which is nearly the same anyways right? :yes

Back in college, I used to mess with HTML and Javascript. As a kid, I collected baseball cards. I used to go bowling, ice skating, and swimming every now and then, but haven't done those activities in years. From the late '80s until 2001, I was really into Nascar. After Dale Earnhardt Sr. died and Rusty Wallace (my favorite driver) retired, I lost interest (although I still watch some of the races).

The only real hobby I have now is doing genealogy research, although I'm reaching the point where it is hard to find new information.

When I was a kid I used to build those model rockets and launch them, go hunting, fishing, collect stamps and sports cards, draw, play piano (by force though). I also used to like reading a book and then going out into the back yard and pretending I was the hero in the book. I used to be able to have so much fun with just me and my imaginary world until I discovered girls. :mum
