Hi. I'm Valerie, I'm 20 and will be a senior at the University of New Hampshire, studying environmental science and applied mathematics.

I guess I've always dealt with anxiety, but last year got real bad and I started going to counseling. I've looked at a bunch of threads here for a while, but never joined. So I did.

Anyway, I just thought I should post something, seeing as I'm sort of new.

hey valerie welcome to sas ,i would recommend finding a therapist who does cbt who specializes in treating people who have sad rather then counseling because if it recently got bad you can reverse it and you can figure out which thoughts you have are irrational and replace them with more rational thoughts trust me it helps
