I'm 18, and in two days I go off to a mandatory new student orientation at my college. I've never officially been diagnosed with social anxiety, but I'm at least 95% sure I suffer from it, as well as depression (which I'm 100% sure I do). I joined because I just spent the better part of the last hour looking through threads on here about others who have similar worries about going to their college orientations, and while I'm still extremely nervous, I don't feel so alone, which is always nice.

i remember in my orientation there was a part where we were all in this indoor field and had to create a human chain by holding hands and run under bridges that our classmates made with their arms. At one point we even had to high five everyone we ran past. It was crazy but fun. I hope you have a great time, i think everyone is a bit nervous at those things.
