I was recently told I suffer from social anxiety which cause panic attacks.
I was sick for the longest time, and I couldn't work too much I was told this probably started when I was younger, but seemed to get worse as an adult. I found this strange since I used to work, but I was painfully shy. Perhaps that was why I ended up working as a costume character Chuck E Cheese. I could be someone different, and no one knew me.

I haven't worked outside of my home for the past several years. I always tried to get jobs, but ended up being too sick to work. I ended up in the hospital, and was tested for everything under the sun. No one could figure out what was
wrong with me. No one suggested I should see a specialist. I ended up
getting a new doctor, and we sat and talked. As I told him what was going on
he stopped me, and said "You are suffering from Social Anxiety.

Now I am on meds, and I have a psychologist, who happens to be my husband. I know some may think this isn't such a good idea. I went to shrinks in the past, and all they did was tell me there was nothing wrong with me.

I hope to make new friends here.

Yeah the physical symptoms are the worst. When I got really sick I ended up at the ER and even at the time I was on medication and seeing a psychiatrist. I ended up having to quit my job it paid pretty good money! Ugh, but things happen and as long as you are trying to move forward at your own pace and all, I think it's OK. :yes Welcome!

Welcome. :)

I actually think it's a great idea that your husband is your psychologist. Most people can't help their husband/wife cause they aren't qualified but your husband is so that's great. And you can also feel comfortable knowing he actually cares cause he loves you, and isn't doing it for money.
