My name is Olivia. I'm 28 living in NYC, and I've had trouble with severe depression/anxiety for about 15 years. I find it very difficult to talk to anyone about my feelings. Almost as soon as I start having a feeling, I tend to over-analyze it. What I find is that all of my emotions are so selfish and petty. I feel very guilty about being the way I am. I don't know if this is reality or just another way that I distort things, but I want to try and accept my feelings more and to be a more open person.

I hope to learn a lot from this forum and to hopefully start moving forward to a brighter life.
