Hey names Caite ,

Im joining this group because I've suffered from Social related anxiety problems for many years, i dont have that many friends but i do have a best freind who's also my bf who's helped me out alot. I still have trouble fitting in on my own though I was made fun of alot growing up and still am I wish i could fit in better. everytime i go out with people i freeze up in a conversation then i never here from them again its horrible. Im transferring in the fall to a four year institution and Im so scared i'll have the same problems as i do now :( I never join clubs because i fear people will judge me in negative ways what should i do?

Hello and welcome :)

I hope things go ok for you in your new place. Can you absolutely not join any sort of clubs? Even a physical kind of one, where you don't really have to talk much if you don't want to? I'm thinking martial arts, running, cheerleading... even chess might work, because you wouldn't really have to socialise. Maybe you could get some kind of therapy?
