Hi everyone,

I'd like to apologize for my English first of all,as I am not a native speaker.

I am a 24 yrs old female, living in Greece as a foreigner for some time now. After I moved out of my country,my social anxiety builded up so badly that I stopped going out or even shopping. (Mostly due to language barrier, but I was never a people person anyway.)

Main reason I wanted to sign up for this forum is hopefully hear from other people like me that struggles to build a new life in a foreign country.

For anyone out there that is feeling unmotivated, lonely, anxious and dealing with low self esteem issues,I wish a happy and peaceful day with all my heart.:)

People are very friendly and generous to foreigners, very beautiful country (especially the islands) but everyone is drowning in tax debts, shops are closing one by one, people are striking almost every day...

I'm also a foreigner. Culture shock+anxiety is not a very good combination.
I hope you have a lovely day as well.
Thank you sooli. Today I am going to force myself to speak greek in our local supermarket. First time after a year. Hope I won't see any bad reactions :b
