I haven't had much of an appetite and I read that taking Zinc (In proper amounts) helps increase appetite. People with a lack of enough Zinc can lose a sense of taste and smell to a certain extent I read in the health book.

There are some other ones too that help such as B12 and vitamin E. So I got me some of that and hoping that it will help. With all the anxiety I have I usually find it hard to eat or some times even swallow. I think the B12 will increase my energy level too.

Anybody take Zinc or B12 and E? How does it help you? :)

They aren't wonder drugs for me, but I do notice a difference between when I do and don't take my vitamins. I feel a bit less "edgey' when I take my multi, which has alot of B vitamins in it. And I remember going through a time when I kept getting leg cramps. When I started taking calcium they went away completely.

The B vitamins are especially helpful for me. Did you get a B complex vitamin or just B-12?

I take daily: a multi (supposed to take 3 a day of this brand, but I only take 1. I eat a balanced diet), 200 iu of E, 800 mg of a calcium/ mag/ D supplement (divided into two doses, since the body absorbs it better). I take zinc every once in a while. Mostly during the winter months.

What exactly is the B complex? That was mentioned when I was looking into the vitamins.
And I just have the B-12

I take multi-vitamin as well. But also extra iron supplements. Not only is iron good to maintain my low case of anemia...but iron helps in digestion, and aids in the production of energy and in concentration which we with SAD knoe, thats probably the 2 things we tend to lack.
