I had some little goals for my dance class tonight:
1. do all the movements, even if i only do them 'little'
2. move to the front of the class when I am supposed to instead of staying at the back
I did both of these and then some!! Not only did I do ALL the moves, I also did them 'bigly'! I danced at the front of the class. I also chatted with people. I can't believe it - I actually had fun and didn't feel panicky for the first time! :boogie
... and I'm really proud cos I realised after the class that I actually achieved positive self-talk type stuff during the class. I was able to say to myself "I know I can do this because I've done it at home, I want to do this, just do it" etc. So yay!
