I had some little goals for my dance class tonight:

1. do all the movements, even if i only do them 'little'

2. move to the front of the class when I am supposed to instead of staying at the back

I did both of these and then some!! Not only did I do ALL the moves, I also did them 'bigly'! I danced at the front of the class. I also chatted with people. I can't believe it - I actually had fun and didn't feel panicky for the first time! :boogie

... and I'm really proud cos I realised after the class that I actually achieved positive self-talk type stuff during the class. I was able to say to myself "I know I can do this because I've done it at home, I want to do this, just do it" etc. So yay!

Fantastic news, feels so good to set goals and then achieve them, not only that but gain confidence at the same time. Hope you keep it up and do it next time as well, and I think even this small step could open up larger opportunities which your SA have hindered before.

WOOO!
