I have been attending a social anxiety support group for the last month and so far I feel it has been beneficial to me. However, I realize the support group is not treatment it is a form of social support. I had a doctor's appoinment last week and he faxed a referral to a social anxiety clinic. I just want my life to change now. I feel really motivated for change and I want it. The issue now is dealing with the frustration and the feelings of not being productive and loneliness.
