I identified with the characters a bit too...the main character is a lost soul and he is lucky enough to find himself and find love...
I **think** that Large is mostly just lost--it's when he STOPS taking meds that he begins to feel better.
Epilipsy does not effect one's personality.
Another neat thing for me was that the 2 main characters met at a neurologist's office and I go to a neurologist myself--going tomorrow in fact!
