Post your favorites. Stockhausen is in my top five:

(Music need not be 20th Century. Baroque, Romantic, Classical, Middle Ages, etc. ALL is good.)

Not sure what you mean by fine art music, does this count?
Interesting fact, This song was forbidden to be transcribed and was only allowed to be preformed at certain services, adding to its mystical vibe.

The wiki article reminded me of the pioneers of rock meets fine art. It's a good introduction to those that don't like classical, but love rock n roll:
