I messed up... -1 no and add a yes. My high school senior year I didnt pass and was held back due to my principal making a false promise of giving me classes that were suppost to count for credits i needed... ughh long story but i dropped out and went for my ged.

No but I almost had to get held back one year because there was a state math exam that I failed twice. I barely passed the third time and I could only take it three times!

I didn't really have to repeat a grade, but I was still considered a sophmore during part of my junior year because I didn't do much of anything when I was at a charter school..Im all caught up now though as a senior. I think my second grade teacher wanted to hold me back though, she thought I was stupid, but actually my meds (for OCD) made me seem that way.
