I got 7. I guessed the first. I knew the others but hey, I don't count, as some of those words are used quite often in my language.
I have more trouble with phrasal verbs

Edit: Oh by the way, I think synedoche is a figure of speech.

I got 5 right. I can live with that. Most of them you could figure out from latin words.

I only got 4/7 but I dont really care either. Those are not commonly used words in English and if you chose to use them, most people would not know what you are trying to say. Anyone can pull out a dictionary and learn a word that few people know. I think I have a rather good vocabulary; a test on the internet is not going to change that.
