Yesterday I ate at Subway for lunch and after ordering my sandwich I moved down to the cashier and she asked me what type of sandwich I got and I swear I could not remember, I mean I drew a complete blank. All I could mutter was "I got a Subway". I felt like a complete idiot. Has anyone else had this happen before?

Blanking out is pretty common in social phobics I think. I've had it happen many times over and over again, and a few times my voice quit working. With practice you can reduce it from happening.

I did that Friday. I went to the registrar to get something and when I went up to the secretary I went "I need a letter of proof of...of...of..." Lucky for me he knew what I wanted or we could have been stuck there all day.
