Some folks might think that an animal with such a grave deformity should have been euthanized, but he looks like he gets around pretty good, and is enjoying life. You go, doggie :) I have to wonder, though, how he manages to go to the bathroom. I saw a dog in the park last week, in a doggie wheelchair. His back legs were paralyzed, and were supported by this little cart-thingy. Cool invention, eh?

I think it's amazing. Some people are way too quick to say, "Oh, put it out of its misery." Why? There are humans who are born without legs and/or arms, should they be put down too? Do you need all your limbs to have a meaningful life? No. I saw this thing on a girl who was born without arms, and learned to fly a plane with her feet. That doggy gets along fine, and I'm sure if it needs help with something it gets it.
