Not because you're laughing at the person or what they're going through, but because sometimes you can relate SO much to their ridiculous irrational thoughts and awkward actions that you can't help but burst out laughing. I let out laughter of relief and I don't feel so alone in my weirdness.

The ppl of this forum make me smile/laugh a lot when I'm down especially when they are just as awkward as me.

yeah, i've had a couple of chuckles (of recognition) whilst reading the 'weird things we do b/c of SA' thread. not b/c the posts were funny, per se, but b/c i could sadly relate to so many of them! i guess it was comforting, in a sense, to know that i wasn't the only one who did things that i thought were specific to my own 'oddness'... but it also sucks that so many of us have had to experience such discomfort or resort to such complicated measures all in the name of our SA.

my point is, yeah, i've done it too.

Me, too. I tend to laugh at the things me and others are irrational about.
