Deer Park, the new browser of theirs, is in its alpha stage and is available for testing. What a silly name, but hey, it's mozilla so no real complaints here.

I don't know. Developers in general, I think, enjoy making silly names out of their current projects. I believe one of the Nintendo consoles was code named the Dolphin. Silly. I was hoping the same would be true for the XBox 360 (I still think the name is too silly to sell ) but that unfortunately is not the case.

"Deer Park" is just a code name. It'll be called "Firefox 1.1" when it formally releases.
