Breath on my cheek
Palm on my cheek

Darkness covers me
Impudent language
Beer for breath

"Father don't"
My last words

Youth departed
My soul captured
And taken away

That is really quite good. I just posted something with light and dark imagery, and I want you to know its not a response to your poem. I wrote the thing I posted months ago and just found it again.
