Methylphenidate (Ritalin) is obtainable in the US - usually for ADD, or depression in certain cases. Sibutramine (Meridia) is a weight loss medication that is also available in the US, but I think it is one of those meds that's considered unnecessary by most insurance companies because my insurance plan (through Blue Cross Blue Shield) doesn't cover Meridia or any other exclusively appetite-suppressing medications (i.e. diethylpropion, phentermine, etc). I am not sure if desoxypipradrol is illegal or not in the US, but it is not available by prescription.
