I went outside just now to snip a few sprigs of thyme and rosemary, was out there not even 2 minutes and got TWO mosquito bites. One of the bites is on my breast if you can believe that. They are really bad right now. I hate mosquitoes. I miss Vegas at a time like this; there are none there. :mum

Haven't had a problem with them here even though it's really wet and humid. Well, maybe the rain has been keeping them at bay. I'm sure they will come about in the coming weeks considering how many pools of water there will be. It has been raining here almost non-stop for weeks.
I've heard that Skin So Soft from Avon works really well as a mosquito repellant, and it doesn't stink like bug sprays usually do.

It does help. The loggers around where I live use it. It has citronella oil in it. I still have a few bottles left. They use to make a spray too.

The mosquitoes are bad out at my dad's place esp in the middle of the 30 acres of forestland he is building a house. We got some rain and now humid weather. They really have hatched out. The one good thing the black flies didn't get out of hand this year due to being cold when they usually were suppose to be the worst. Now being humid the deer flies will be bad. They look like miniature stealth fighters and they dive and attack the head.
I like OFF! skintastic spray with Aloe Vera. It's the same concept as Skin so soft.
I too hate mosquito's but I've not been bitten yet, they will come & when they do I'll swear as usual
I usually don't have a problem with mosquitoes here, thank God, but recently we've had an attack of small black beetles. Gross.
I haven't really had a problem with them yet, but I also don't go out much so I guess that could be why, heh.
