I gave it a try (to challenge my anxiety) when I was living in San Francisco, but the ratio of males to females was so high that I never got matched with anyone.

Pretty neat, but I have no problem with chatting with people.. My problem is with face-to-face scenarios. :(

Hmmm, I honestly feel like I'm more comfortable with face-to-face. I guess it's because I can read their body language? I also don't like how on apps like AIM people can see how long it takes you to write a response...that part that says, "JoeBlow123 is typing," or, "JoeBlow123 has entered text." Hate that.
