Hey all,

Hopefully this is the right place to ask about this. A while ago I started going to counseling for my SA. It's nice because the first couple sessions are free, but now I need to actually start paying if I want to continue. Now, I have some kind of health insurance, but unfortunately I don't know anything about it as my parents have always handled it (I know...). All I've got is this insurance card with my dad's name on it, not mine.

Basically I feel like this counseling is helping me, but I absolutely can't handle anyone in my family finding out that I'm doing this. Does anyone know how confidentiality works regarding my insurance? How will this be billed, and will my parents be able to tell what it's for? I assume I'm on some kind of family plan, but I don't really know. How can I even find out more about my own insurance? I feel so clueless :|
